A WORD FROM THE DIRECTOR:
It is crazy to think that this is my 31st year as Theatre Director at Bloomington High School South! We have two great shows in store for this season, and the Thespians are PUMPED!
After a two-year hiatus due to COVID, T.S. is bringing back Almost, Maine. In the spring of 2020, we were 1-week away from opening the show when the unthinkable happened. So now, with a fresh cast and a very quick turn-around for stage time (only 13 days on the stage to build, paint, set lights, sound and blocking), we accept the challenge! One weekend only, so don't miss it.
In the spring, this ambitious bunch will be mounting Sondheim's Into the Woods. With musical direction from Eric Doades, the thespians will have a lot to learn! We hope you will join us for both of these two shows.
Past productions include: The Lightning Thief, Velvet Ropes, Where is the Hope? 12 Angry Jurors, Almost, Maine, Rabbit Hole, Proof, Footloose, The Outsiders, The Nerd, How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, Grease, It’s a Wonderful Life, The Good Doctor, Alice in Wonderland, Grimm Tales, Thoroughly Modern Millie, The Odd Couple, The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, The Glass Menagerie, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, The Diary of Anne Frank, The Diviners, The Complete Works of William Shakespeare Abridged, Bye Bye Birdie, and Guys and Dolls.
"Act well your part; there all the honor lies."
